review Wauggl Bauggl Pearls LApoNA

Review Wauggl Bauggl Pearls LApoNA

80 % GOTS kba combed cotton, 20 % GOTS kba combed cotton, Approx 280 g/m2, this is a triweave wrap.

As you all know I love bright colors in my wraps and this LApoNA had to most amazing purple color, in bright sunlight it looks like very bright purple and when the sun sets the colors goes to a delicate blue/purple. The design of pearls is something I love very much, I live at the ocean and this design reminds me of pearly drops of water, the ocean, water, rain is really special to me and I could not live without the ocean close by, I even have a water drop tattooed on my wrist to keep the ocean close by even if I'm away from it for a while.

As for the wrapping qualities of this wrap, well what can I say, this is the perfect all day round wrap. I loved how easy it was to handle, quick ups to go to the store where a piece of cake, it's very soft and so easy to wrap with. I don't have that many pictures with this wrap with my son, but we used it all the time when it was here on holliday to go to the store, for quick up's while making lunch or diner, to go to the playground, and so many other places. This wrap is very light and airy which makes it so easy to wrap with.
But don't get me wrong she might be pretty light but she is also a real workhorse! A friend of mine had to move house and she left her 1 year old with me for the day, her son is not used to being wrapped and not used to me either as we don't see each other that often, he really missed his mommy and did not want to stop crying, until I wrapped him up in LApoNA. I've never seen a child calm down so quickly! I carried him for the rest of the day, 5 hours non stop on my back and thanks to this workhorse I managed to create a bond with this child that I would otherwise never have created. The wrap didn't get saggy, as you can have with others after a long time without readjustment. My wrapjob stayed firmly in place and I had enough cush on my shoulders to go on for an other 5 hours, so yes, for me definitely toddlerworthy.
I was extremely sad to see this wrap leave as it is really one of my favorite wraps that has already come through my house to test, I hope other mommy's will enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed it.

review Wauggl Bauggl roots and wings

Review Wauggl Bauggl roots and wings.

45% kbA certified combed cotton, 23% merino wool and 32% combed cotton, this is a triweave wrap and approximatly 280gr/m

As this was my first time trying a Wauggl Bauggl wrap I had no idea what to expect, I heard a lot about this brand and was very excited to try it out, and let me tell you, I was not disappointed.

Let's start with the looks of this wrap as that's the first thing you look at when receiving a wrap. Roots and wings has a earthy brown/grey colors on the 'good side' and a white counterside. The brown of the wrap is softened by the white of the 'wrong side' of this wrap. I wrapped with both sides of the wrap and I have to admit I fell in love with the white side of it a little more then the brown, I usualy love colors in my wraps, so I was very happy with the white making it pop a little against the brown.

This wrap is a fantastic wrap for toddlers cause it's very supportive but also for a newborn this one would be fantastic as it's so unbelievably soft, for the moment I only have a toddler to test this wrap with but who knows what the near future might bring ;)
The weave of this wrap is very airy which makes it very floppy and easy to tie. Thanks to the airy weave it's the perfect wrap to make very nice chestpasses. This wrap has some stretch which gives it a bit of bounce but not to much to make it soggy. I loved how easy it was to tighten every wrapjob, getting out all the slack is a walk in the park with this wrap, and did I mention how unbelievably soft it is! This wrap is perfect for your baby to cuddle in a front or backcarry and ones the little ones are of to bed for mommy to cuddle with on a cold winter evening on the sofa ;)
I would recommend this wrap for beginners aswell as more advanced wrappers and for toddlers aswell as newborns. A great allround wrap I'd say and especially for autumn or winter.

review ehawee slings cranes the ocean is my home

Review ehawee slings cranes the ocean is my home

This wrap is a size 6. 100% high quality combed cotton, extra twisted double yarn, approximately 265 g/m²

The color of this wrap is just so beautiful and so hard to capture with a camera, the green is a delicate and at the same time bright and flashy mintgreen. It's almost like she changes color whether you are in the sun or in the shade.
When I first got the wrap it was a bit stiff, I washed it and couldn't wait to wrap my baby up in it, which was my mistake as the wrap was not as soft as I hoped after just washing it, so that evening I gave her a nice long steam iron and saw her soften up before my eyes. Ready for a next uppie with my baby the next day and ooooh what a great wrap it is. I love that it is getting softer after every uppie we have and will be very sad to pass this beauty on to the next mommy :( My baby weighs about 10 kg and loved the softness of the wrap while I love the support it gives me.

The wrap has medium grip which I love as I can get a nice firm and tight chestpass when I wrap my baby in my favorite carry the Double Hamock. Like I said it was pretty stiff the first time I wrapped it but after a week of intensive usage it is one of the softest wraps that has passed through my house without being saggy or not supportive enough for my 20 month old.
I quickly find wraps diggy on my boney shoulders but thanks to the softness of this wrap I didn't have that problem which is an extra plus for my.
This wrap had become very moldable after just a few uppies, and is a perfect wrap for beginners aswell as more experienced wrappers that want to try out new carries. My boy is 20 months and I loved wrapping him with this wrap but I aslo think it would be a very nice wrap for a newborn as it's so very soft.

review cotton colors sentosa ace

Review sentosa ace cotton colors size 7

The wrap is a 100% coton wrap with an approximate weight of 270 gr/m²

The first thing I noticed when unpacking this beauty was how the colors change all the time, it's very difficult to capture the true color of this beauty, as I've heard from other testers all cotton color wraps are like this which I think is fantastic. The sentosa has a lot of texture, which is great to keep your wrapjob in place. I was a bit worries as the wrap was pretty rough straight out of the package, but after a wash and a steam iron she already softened up a bit.

The wrap needs a little breaking in period to make it easier to tie, as I was the first to test it I didn't have the chance to try it out when it's broken in completely but I did feel that she got softer and more moldable after every wrapjob. The wrap has not a lot of stretch which makes it not the easiest wrap to use, but I think that's also because it was not broken in yet. As my preferred carry is a dh it was a bit of a hassle to get a nice chestpass because of this.
I took her for a few long walks and she was so comfortable and supportive with my 19 month old son, the wrap has amazing grip and my wrapjob did not move an inch. I love linen wraps for their supportiveness but this one being 100% coton can for sure compete with a coton-linen mix wrap!
This wrap is the perfect autumn wrap for me, beautiful colors for when the leaves start to fall from the trees. Not to warm but just the right amount of warmth for autumn I think.
I can't wait to feel this wrap in a few months when it will be completely broken in and will ad a small review of the wrap to this review to tell you about the difference between the wrap now and when it's completely broken in. so stay tuned :)

review Kindsknopf 1973 just the two of us

Review kindsknopf 1973 just the two of us

I had the chance to win the draw for the kindsknopf wrap named 1973 just the two of us.
This wrap is a TOAK and is 50% cotton and 50% tencel, when I first received the wrap is was so unbelievably soft and shiny. After washing and drying it, it was still so fantastically soft.
I wrapped my baby straight away and was blown away by the wraps bounce and coush. With some other wraps that have a lot of bounce in them I quickly find them not supportive enough to carry my toddler but with this kindsknopf that's out of the question, it's so supportive for long walks even in single layered carry's. The wrap is a little narrow but because of the elasticity it's still wide enough to make a nice seat.
This wrap needs no breaking-in as it is so soft straight from the box, it's a perfect beginner wrap as it's so easy to wrap with but super for more experienced wrappers to learn new carries with an easy to handle wrap aswell. I think this wrap is perfect for a newborn aswell as for heavier toddlers.
I took this wrap to go to the beach, as that's my preferred place to go for a walk with my toddler, it was more than 30° that day and this wrap was so airy to wear even with a double layer carry.
And offcourse we took loads of pictures as always :)

Kindsknopf, is a family run company in Austria, they are 100% vegan, and have the most amazing retro designs and colors. Go have a look on their facebook page and on their site for more info.

review sensimo slings wrap Azuleyo Cuida

Review sensimo slings,

I had the honor to test the sensimo slings wrap Azuleyo Cuida.
When I received it I was wowed with how luxurious the pattern and colors are, the pattern is so beautyfull and the colors mix so well together.  After a wash and a nice steam iron, she was ready for her first wrap job. After chasing my little one to get him on my back, I was wowed again for how strong this wrap is, my boy was almost weightless. The wrap needs a little breaking in to make it easier to wrap with but already softened up nicely after a few uppies.

For being a 100% cotton wrap this wrap and its supportiveness really surprised me, 100% cotton wraps easily hurt my diggy shoulders but this one, heaven, I wore my son to the beach, we had a walk in the forest and so much more.
To me this wrap is perfect for every occasion casual aswell as for a more formal event as the colors and pattern give your outfit a luxurious touch.

Sensimo slings are based in Poland and are released on their site. You can have a look on their facebook page for more info about them.

welcome post

Hi all,

A little introduction to my family, my name is Kim and I'm mom of a little boy Wonder Yarne, he is my little duracel battery, energie for 10 and never stops. He's my first baby and the love of my life besides my boyfriend and my babydaddy who I adore and love with all my heart. But both of them can drive me crazy from time to time, as in a few times a day haha.
In this blog I'm planning on talking about babywearing a crazy out of hand hobby of mine which saved my sanity the first few months of my baby's life. I'm a French babywearing consultant and love talking to babywearing parents that I pass by on the street, I take there picture and always have a great talk, it's the perfect way to talk to strangers.
Also I'll talk about breastfeeding as my son is 18 months and still breastfed which is more like fitness from time to time at his age, sitting on my lap and drinking is only for bedtime, the rest of the day it's a sip here a sip there and mostly while climbing all over me with my nipple in his mouth, he just doesn't realize sometimes that that nipple is attached to my boob and my boob is attached to me ;)
and as my baby is 18 months he just went in to the toddler tantrum fase, which is such a lovely fase (sideeye) who doesn't love a screaming toddler all hours of the day because he's not allowed to eat stones, or he's not allowed to eat snails out of the garden.
So stay tuned cause I have loads of nonsense to tell you all :)
