Tutorial and pictures of Lena's backcarry with double poppins finish

Tutorial and pictures of Lena's backcarry with double poppins finish

Written explanation:

Start off center,
1 tail over my shoulder (let's call this tail A) and one under your shoulder (tail B) made a chest pass with tail B and flipped it around tail A and made a second chestpass. Then go under baby's leg with tail A spread this tail over her back and come out over my shoulder on the other side. There you flip tail B over tail A and make an other chestpass. Go with tail A under baby's leg to the back and with tail B also and finished with a ring. You can also make a knot under baby's bum but I personally prefer a sling ring finish.
Curious to hear how you like this carry!

tutorial and pictures of lena's fwcc with double poppins finish

Tutorial and pictures of lena's fwcc with double poppins finish

Written explanation:

Start of like a normal fwcc with the middle marker on your belly.
Pull 1tail (lets call this tail A) under your arm over baby's back under the other tail ( tail B) and flip it over, go back over baby's back to the other side (this makes the first poppins). Now take tail B and bring it under baby's leg to you back, go up diagonally to the other side of your back, over your shoulder, pull it down alongside your baby's body and pin it between your legs, take tail A again, go with tail A behind tail B, flip it and go back over baby's back to the other side of your body (this makes the second poppins)
Now take both tails under baby's legs, go to your back and finish knotless with a slingring
Hope you enjoy this carry as much as I do.

Wrap used: Pellicano baby masks Rissa base +1

I find this a perfect carry for legstraightners and very comfortable for long walks and wrapnaps.

review maisaa marblelous tester wrap

Review maisaa marblelous tester wrap

100% cotton, approximately 225 gr/m, size 6

I had the chance to test this unreleased 100% coton wrap from maisaa slings.

The color isn't really me but I nevertheless had a lot of fun with this wrap. The pattern looks like marble stones and is very intriguing, there is no up or downside with this wrap which is great if you like your wraps to always be in the correct direction like me. I really like the pattern as it looks a little different every time I wrap my kids in it.

This tester wrap is a light weight wrap and I think perfect for summer, the wrap is very smooth as the pattern doesn't really have any relief but without being slippery. This is a 100% cotton wrap and although very easy to work with after it's first wash it does need a little breaking in to reach it's full potential. I only had it for a short period of time so I can't say how it feels when completely broken in but I think it has a lot of promise to be a very soft moldable wrap. I loved this wrap with my little girl in single layered carries but went for a double layered carry with my big boy of 3 years old.
As it's a light weight, cotton wrap for me, it's not supportive enough for a single layered carry with my toddler.
If you are looking for a thin summer wrap with very little stretch this is perfect for you!

Review sensimo slings rainbow hearts

Review sensimo slings rainbow hearts

I had the chance to test this super soft wrap from sensimo slings a few weeks back, here is finally my review, couldn't get it done sooner because, well life happened ;)

I washed it as soon as it arrived at my house. It does shrink a little with washing especially breadthways but extends again a bit after giving it a nice ironing. It's a pretty narrow wrap, narrower then I'm use to but because of the amount of stretch it's still great to use even with my 3 year old.

The colors of this wrap are just wow, they can be a little overwhelming at first if you aren't use to a lot of colors, but I can insure you it looks amazing. I love bright sunny colors in my wraps so this rainbow wrap is perfect for me. Both sides of this wrap are equally nice to wrap with so you can choose which one you like best.

This sensimo is a medium weight wrap and very floppy after one wash already. It's very easy to wrap with and it has a great amount of stretch which I really liked with my little one. I tried this wrap with a couple of different front carries aswell as with backcarries. I love that I can get such a tight and snug carry. The wrap is very forgiving for new babywearers as it's so easy to tighten without having to pay to much attention to strand by strand tightening, which comes in handy when I need to get my little one up quickly when she's crying.
I think this wrap is suitable for small aswell as bigger babies and for beginners as well as more experienced wrappers.

Sensimo slings are based in Poland and are released on their site http://sensimoslings.com/  . *
