Ethos babywearing rainbow baby

Review ethos babywearing rainbow baby

50% cotton, 50% pashmina viscose, 350 gr/m, size 6

I got this wrap from ethos babywearing a few weeks ago and have used it a lot over the last few weeks with my 15 month old daughter aswell as with my almost 4 year old son.

It's a handwoven wrap in a heartweave pattern, the warp is black and the weft rainbow colored.
It's a fairly dark wrap which lights up in the sun.
I love heartweave wraps so this one had my heart before I even wrapped with it.
The rainbow is an irregular rainbow, with big and small lines of different colors, top and bottom have a different color which makes it a great wrap for beginner wrappers to easily differentiate top and bottom of the wrap while wrapping.
As with all handwoven wraps this rainbow baby has a few weavers knots, which I always say give a wrap character, these knots are only cosmetic and do not affect the wrap.

This wrap, in hand feels like a medium to heavy wrap, but surprisingly seeing it's gsm, wraps more like a medium to light wrap.
It's a very soft and moldable wrap, it has a great amount of cush, which my picky shoulders appreciate a lot. Rainbow baby has for me the perfect amount of stretch, it's not saggy but has some recoil to it, it was great for wrapping my toddler in a multilayered carry and holds up great in a single layered carry with my 15 month old daughter.
I received this wrap during the 'short days long wraps' babywearing challenge of the facebook group babywearing challenge so I managed to participate using this wrap for some lovely carries and finishes. It's such an easy to manipulate wrap, it has a nice amount of glide but still has enough grip, thanks to the weave, that it holds multi passes in place.
What I especially like is that it feels like I'm wrapped in a cloud, the chestpasses this wrap makes are just out of this world amazing.

So to sum up, as you already noticed from my review I really like this wrap with both my kids. Since I received it, it's my go to wrap for naptime, trying out new carries and fiddling with fancy finishes.
This wrap is great for toddlers aswell as for squichy babies and would be a great wrap for experienced wrappers to learn new carries aswell as for beginner wrappers.
