review sestrice wraps

Review sestrice wraps

I had the chance to test not 1 but 5 of sestrice's wraps, all of the wraps I tested where very different color wise and wrapping wise, hope you enjoy my reviews of every wrap and the lovely pictures.

1. Herbs November (52% fine merino wool and 48% combed cotton)

This wrap is a brown/ grey colored wrap, I love bright colorfull wraps so this color would not have been my first choice, but the design OH so pretty! The sestrice wraps are made with original Slovak motives and ornaments. My Slovak friend got a bit homesick when seeing these wraps, so sestrice really nailed it with their designs.
This wrap is 52% fine merino wool and 48% combed cotton which makes it a very soft wrap. I might not have loved the color of this wrap but I loved it's wrapping qualities. It has a nice amount of stretch which make it perfect for a tight wrapjob. This wrap is a medium weight wrap, I loved how cushy it felt on my shoulders, I tried it with my 3 year old son aswell and it felt really confortable. It's hemmed on both sides which I love, I like wrapping with both sides of a wrap and a wrap hemmed on both sides makes it just that bit easier for me.

2. Slncia Andalusia (100% combed cotton)

I love the colors of this wrap, so bright and sunny, full of life. The design is also very pretty especially with this color it just makes it perfect.
For wrapping qualities, this wrap is very thin and I found it not very supportive for a bigger kid. I loved it with my baby though and would say it's a great wrap for newborns. It's a very sturdy wrap with little to no stretch but very easy to wrap with. This wrap is also hemmed on both sides so yay for that as both sides of this wrap are equally beautiful.

3. Slncia sunbell (68% combed cotton and 32% silk)

The colors of this wrap aren't a combination I would chose but I have to say it really grew on my expecially after seeing the pictures of the photoshoot with this wrap. This wrap is 68% combed cotton and 32% silk which gives this wrap it's beautiful shiny.
For wrapping qualities this wrap really surprised me as it feels really heavy in hand but wraps as easily as a light weight wrap. It's a little slippery which makes it a bit more difficult to use rings as they loosen up quickly. I tested this wrap with my 3 year old aswell and this is a perfect wrap for bigger kids, it's also nice with smaller babies but I would not recommend it for newborn babies. I would not recommend this wrap to new wrappers but think it's a great wrap when you already have some experience in wrapping. This wrap a little to no stretch which makes it a bit more challenging to get a tight wrapjob, hence the reason I would not recommend it for beginner wrappers.

4. Herbs coral (100% combed cotton)

This wrap was one of my favorites, I love the color coral in a wrap and this design is next to folk my favorite design. The color is flashy, lively and soft at the same time, perfect for my little miss sunshine. This wrap is also hemmed on both sides for easier wrapping on both sides, so you can enjoy the beauty of the entire wrap.
This wrap is a medium weight wrap, pretty thin but with a firm weaving, which makes is supportive for toddlers as well as soft enough to wrap a newborn baby. Herbs coral is easy to wrap with and very moldable with just a little bit of stretch. It's cushy on the shoulders but not bouncy while wearing, which is something I love in a wrap. I tried this wrap with my 3 year old and found it very comfortable with him aswell.
I would definitely recommend this wrap to beginner wrappers aswell as to more experienced wrappers. And for small babies aswell as for bigger toddlers.

5. Folk seabreeze (100% combed cotton)

My favorite wrap for last!
Folk is as I said above one of the 2 designs I like best. And then the color seabreeze is just ooohhhh. I love the color blue in my wraps as you might have noticed in my previous reviews, and these are just my favorite shades of blue all put together. When I first saw this wrap I found the direction of the colors a bit unsettling as I'm used to wraps that have their color rainbow going lengthwise and in folk seabreeze they go the other way, but while wrapping it actually looks really nice.
This wrap was a dream to wrap with, so unbelievable soft and cushy, it is a medium weight wrap with a nice spongey feel to it. Super cushy on the shoulders and soft to the touch. Folk seabreeze has a nice amount of stretch to it, and while walking this stretch gives it a nice bounce. While I usually don't like to much bounce I my wraps with this one I really liked it cause of the sponginess of the fabric. I absolutely loved this wrap with my little miss and wish it could stay and live with us.
I would recommend this wrap for beginners and experienced wrappers and for toddlers aswell as little babies.
